Notes On Washed Black

Black is not one colour. A reactive-dyed 260 GSM cotton reads completely differently from a pigment-dyed one, and both change again after they've been worn.

We wash every black piece before it leaves the factory. It costs more and it means the garment arrives already a little bit yours.

The target is the third-wash black: slightly open, slightly faded at the seams, still deep under a streetlight.
